ANNOUNCEMENT!
In order to encourage our next generation of guitar society board members, the society would like to offer free membership to college students in the area. There are two requirements: 1) the student must be currently enrolled as a classical guitar major or minor at an area college 2) the teacher at the college must be a current member of the Society. These student memberships last for one year (Sept.- Aug). Each year, in September, the college teacher will verify the names of the enrolled classical guitar students.

The Chicago Classical Guitar Society is a nonprofit organization devoted to the classical guitar. The society brings the finest guitarists in the world to public performances in the Chicago area and serves as a means of communication among guitarists throughout the Midwest.

The society publishes a bimonthly newsletter, Chicago Guitar, and sponsors recitals, master classes, evaluated recitals, and lectures on topics of interest to classical and flamenco guitarists.
